Details: This lovely bracelet features 11 slightly graduated European-cut very pale green chrysoberyls with a row of tiny rose cut diamonds above and below. The bracelet is a slightly rosy 14k gold which is lovely in contrast to the stones' pale green color. There is pretty scroll-patterned engraving sitting on the surfaces perpendicular to the stones. The bracelet has a box and tongue clasp, further secured by a safety chain.

Chrysoberyls are very hard gemstones, surpassed only by diamonds and sapphires or rubies. Its pale color and sparkling flash was often used to emulate diamonds in the Victorian and Edwardian jewelry.

Measurements: The interior circumference is 6 1/2". The front of the bracelet is 5 mm and tapers to 3mm at the back.

Origin: Mid-European, c. 1885-1895.
